Position Overview: The Assistant Project Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the project management team and overseeing the successful delivery of ground-up commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in the commercial construction space with a focus on ground-up projects, an understanding of project coordination, and a strong ability to manage timelines, budgets, and subcontractors. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of ground-up commercial construction projects. Collaborate with the Project Manager and team to ensure the successful delivery of projects, meeting all safety, quality, and budget objectives. Manage and track project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and contract documents. Help with maintaining project schedules, ensuring timely delivery of all milestones. Assist with procurement and coordination of subcontractors and suppliers. Monitor and report on project budgets and financials. Assist in maintaining positive relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors. Ensure all work is performed in compliance with company standards, local regulations, and safety protocols. Qualifications: 2 years of experience in commercial construction, with a focus on ground-up projects. Strong knowledge of construction processes, project scheduling, and budgeting. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with all stakeholders. Proficiency in project management software is a plus. Knowledge of local building codes and regulations is preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is preferred but not required.
