Insight Global is seeking a Project Manager to join an industry-leading electrical OEM and an electrical systems integrator client in Houston, TX. This is primarily a remote position with occasional onsite needs. (If not local to the Houston area, you would be required to travel to Houston at least once a month). General responsibilities include but not limited to: Lead and manage project teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and schedules, adjusting as necessary to meet project objectives. Maintain regular communication with stakeholders and clients, providing updates and gathering feedback to ensure project alignment. Identify and address project issues and roadblocks, coordinating with relevant team members to find effective solutions. Use project management tools to track and report on project status, ensuring transparency and accountability. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including status reports, risk assessments, and change logs. Monitor and manage the project budget, ensuring expenses are tracked and within the allocated budget. Ensure that project deliverables meet the required quality standards and specifications. Seek opportunities to improve project processes and increase efficiency. Must Haves: 3 years experience as a Project Manager (knowledge with variable speed drive systems or industrial systems) Problem Solver with a can-do, go-getter attitude Willing to be onsite with clients Ability to juggle multiple items and a range of responsibilities – will be asked to tap into other responsibilities where experiences/strong suits align Plusses: Electrical systems - applications/project execution of electrical systems consisting of power distribution, variable speed drives and control systems. Autodesk Autodesk Inventor AutoCAD Electrical MS Project Oil & Gas Industry experience Compensation: This is a contract to hire position with a conversion salary ranging from $100,000 to $150,000. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
