Senior Project Manager / Scrum Master Location: Remote with Occasional On-Site Requirements (South Florida preferred) Contract Length: 12 Months Contract Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master / Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams and drive the successful delivery of both legacy system enhancements and transformational initiatives. This hybrid role combines Agile project management with stakeholder collaboration to ensure business objectives are met efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities: Facilitate Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews. Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize and manage the product backlog. Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project timelines are met. Track progress, report metrics, and maintain alignment across stakeholders. Oversee projects focused on workflow improvements, system modernization, and legacy system integration. Lead transformational initiatives such as cloud migrations, system implementations, and adoption of emerging technologies. Utilize Azure DevOps for backlog management, tracking, and reporting. Balance the demands of maintaining legacy systems while fostering innovation. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field. Experience: Proven expertise as a Senior Project Manager / Scrum Master with a track record of managing legacy systems and transformational projects. Extensive experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban). Proficiency with project management tools like Azure DevOps (ADO). Certifications (Preferred): CSM (Certified Scrum Master) PMP (Project Management Professional) Skills: Strong leadership and communication abilities with a focus on stakeholder engagement. Proficient in tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, or MS Project. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
