Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $2,422 per week

Certification Details BLS CA license Job Details A hospital in California is looking for an experienced Med/Surg Ortho RN for a travel assignment. The right candidate will hold an active BLS and CA license. Job Requirements The right candidate will have 2 years of experience. Schedule Information 12 hr shifts 6:45-7:15 4 weekend shifts in a 4 week schedule Holidays work into perm staff rotation Unit Specific Information 12 hour Days, Every Other Weekend, First to Float Portable tele box if needed Tele 1 to 4 ratio Floating could occur between medsurg floors Additional Details Unit: Medsurg Ortho Previous travel experience required 17 beds Ratios: 1 to 5 EMR: Cerner Charge Nurse: Clinical supervisor - no patient assignment, they will do break relief Nurse Aides: 1 nurse aide for 8 hrs of day Floating: to tele 1 to 4 ratio, could also float between medsurg floors Floor specific orientation: 1 shift of orientation to unit Common diagnosis / Types of patients: hips, knees, shoulders, spine, no drips Candidates must have 2-3 years of experience in specialty, must also have travel experience and be a team player
