We are looking for a skilled, Senior Product Manager to join the Worldwide Product Marketing team to focus on the Swift programming language and other closely related developer technologies and frameworks. This technically strong person will work with Apple engineers to define the features of Apple’s next generation of tools, and then launch these products at WWDC to millions. We believe that the best person to communicate why a product is meaningful to consumers and developers is the same person that helped drive its creation. You will therefore hold dual product management and product marketing responsibilities, and be a key media spokesperson to help explain to the world why your products matter. Then we want to hear from you Description We are seeking a dedicated professional to provide marketing, product and business leadership for Swift, SwiftUI and other Apple developer technologies. In this role, you will: - Collaborate with software engineering and product designers to define product roadmap and strategy. - Negotiate and influence product trade-offs impacting schedule and usability to improve user experience and consumer differentiation. - Position Apple programming languages, frameworks, and tools in the competitive landscape and craft compelling messaging to encourage developer adoption of Apple tools and technologies. - Research and synthesize technology trends, competitive trends, and user feedback to identify new product opportunities. - Launch new versions and features of Swift, frameworks like SwiftUI, and other Apple developer technologies worldwide in conjunction with marketing communications, public relations, and events teams. - Serve as an ambassador for Swift, SwiftUI and other Apple developer technologies via press briefings and customer visits. Minimum Qualifications 8 years experience working as a software product manager or adjacent technical discipline. Key Qualifications Preferred Qualifications Experience with multiple programming languages and popular developer IDEs. Technical track record working closely with engineering / technical teams. Strong ability to lead through influence, debate, and storytelling. Proven oral and written communication skills. Press and media experience preferred. Willingness to travel. Bachelor's degree preferred. Education & Experience Additional Requirements Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $195,500 and $293,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
