General Surgeon Overview Join our healthcare team and make a lasting impact on patient care while enjoying the beauty of the Oregon countryside Practice Setting Critical Access Hospital serving Harney County and surrounding communities in Oregon Modern equipment and technology Schedule Two-week on, two-week off schedule with flexible options available 24-hour call during on-duty weeks; minimal post-working hours Clinic hours are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, 9 am-5 pm Surgery days are Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6am start, with an average of 6-8 procedures per day Cases and Procedures Hernia repairs, appendectomies, cholecystectomies, colon surgeries, scoping (large volume) Compensation and Benefits Annual base salary of $525,000 Comprehensive benefits including health insurance, malpractice coverage, CME allowance, and retirement options including a state pension plan.
