Certification Details BLS ACLS Job Requirements Prefer experience with IABP, Impella, prismaflex, ventilators, arctic sun Must be willing open to PCU assignments/ratios RNs required to titrate drips Experience with critical care drips, Vasopressors, heparin, lasix, antiarrhythmics Schedule Information Shifts & Scheduling: 7a-7p, 7p-7a manager to make schedule Will consider blocks if meets unit needs If D/N Rotation, rotation will not occur more than weekly Weekend Requirements: Every other Holiday Requirements: Every other No call or standby requirement Floating Requirements: All areas as helping hands, To MS Tele for PCU patients, and MS for full patient assignment, some ER Holds/boarding 2- 12 hour shifts of unit/department specific orientation Unit Specific Information of Beds: 15 Nurse:Patient Ratios ICU: 1:1:2, PCU 1:3 Common diagnoses/Types of patients: varies- adults and geriatrics Charge Nurse on each shift? Charge goes to codes, RRT, normally no assignment No nurse aids/patient care techs on this unit Intensivist MD In house 24/7 MD RT in ICU 24/7 RN required to read and interpret, no monitor techs, central monitor station, RN to read strips Additional Details Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract).
