Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg / Telemetry - $2,268 per week

Certification Details BLS - Basic Life Support Job Details 13 or 26 week option and 36 or 48 hr option 9 Trauma - 45 bed medical/surgical unit providing care to trauma patients with focus on the acute and chronic needs for patients that are hemodynamically and medically stable. It is a specialty medical/surgical unit that is fast paced. Trauma focuses on acute and chronic needs for trauma patients admitted from the emergency department, transferred from the ICU, or admitted from surgical/procedural services. Ratios are 1:5 days/1:6 nights. Depending on staffing, night ratios can be 1:7 (this is rare, but facility wants travelers to be aware). 2 years of prior MS/Telemetry experience pref (must have large, urban hospital experience) Drips are required on all floors Level l Trauma Center and Teaching Hospital experience required First timers NOT accepted (will consider if traveler has 2 years of trauma experience and meets all other requirements) EPIC charting experience required Will float within scope to meet facility needs (this includes potentially floating to Bellevue campus) Job Requirements BLS required Pending license accepted: Yes, but if license is not IN HAND at the time of submission then traveler will be booked six weeks out. RTO restrictions: Up to two weeks of RTO permitted. RTO must be submitted with application. Additional requests after confirmation at manager discretion. Schedule Information Weekend Requirement: Two weekends in a four-week schedule period (Saturday/Sunday for day shift, Friday/Saturday for night shift). Additional Details 100% NICOTINE FREE FACILITY Locals Accepted: NO (candidate must be more than 100 miles from facility). Scrubs: MANDATORY - RNs wear Steele gray scrubs with the Nebraska Medicine logo printed on the back. Information on how to obtain Nebraska Medicine branded scrubs will be shared once traveler is confirmed. Facility also sells gray T-shirts that can be worn in their company store. Parking: Professionals can obtain a parking permit (cost depends on the lot, but is approx. $55/month) or they can use daily rate parking ($3 to park for 20 hrs).
