Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - $1,757 per week

Certification Details BLS ACLS Job Details A hospital in Arizona is looking for experienced nurses for a travel contract for their MS/Tele float pool. The right candidate will have 2 years of current tele experience, an active BLS, ACLS and AZ license or compact. TRAVELERS MUST BE ABLE TO TITRATE DRIPS Travelers are required to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to starting (2 max attempts) and will take a pass/fail Sim lab on day 1 of orientation. COVID vaccine is required or declination form with supporting documentation from clergy or MD. Job Requirements 2 years of current tele experience necessary. Must have an active AZ license or compact. Ability to titrate cardiac drips required. Schedule Information Contract length of 17 weeks. 12 hr shifts. 7-7. Floating to similar or lower acuity units required. Every other weekend work required. May float between Chandler & Mercy Gilbert campuses with notification of campus and unit given 1.5 hrs prior to shift start. Unit Specific Information May float to ICU, Cardiac Tele, MedSurg, any & every holding area based on skill level. No pediatrics, patients 15 y/o and older. Common diagnosis/types of patients: Post cath lab, post vascular procedures, day 2 CABG patients, general tele. Neuro post surgical, post crani, spine, CVAs post TPA. 80% Surgical, 20% Oncology in MedSurg C5. General MedSurg patients that require tele in Medical-Surgical B2C. Additional Details Travelers will need to pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of offer. There is a pass/fail Sim Lab on the first day of orientation. Floating to different units mid-shift can happen.
