Overview The role is a member of the Global Supply Chain & Logistics – Relationship Management team supporting the Technical Operations organization, inclusive of Pharmaceutical & Analytical Development (PAD), Chemistry Manufacturing Control (CMC), and Manufacturing, Sciences & Technology (MS&T). Responsibilities include governance management to relationships of Third-Party Drug Manufacturers, Device, Excipient Raw Materials, and related Services for commercial and early-stage development operations. The position interacts with internal and external personnel and cross-functional stakeholders across disciplines of Manufacturing, Regulatory, Quality, Supply Chain, Legal, Procurement and Finance. The position also will be the Technical Operations subject matter expert for the sourcing management process from category strategy through contract award. Responsibilities Job Responsibilities Lead supplier selection sourcing projects focused on pharmaceutical ingredient and contract manufacturing organizations Ability to build relationships and earn trust of existing and potential suppliers Negotiate complex contract terms and conditions Establish and coordinate project management plans and task execution related to supplier agreements Lead cross-functional business review sessions to optimize performance with supplier network partners Prepare analysis on supply base in compliance with Supply Agreements, aligned with business requirements Develop presentation content, coordinate drafting of reports, and edit documents for preparation of business development activities Prepare metrics for dashboards and monitor supplier performance along with managing action plans to improve metrics Monitoring supplier relationship performance, and establishing key metrics to assess the health of relationships Contract management stewardship from inception, execution, implementation, monitoring, and improvement Ensure suppliers are in compliance with Supply Agreements, aligned with business requirements, and agreements are effective and current. Position Requirements Bachelor's Degree required, concentration in Materials Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred Masters Degree is a plus Five (5) years' experience in Pharmaceutical or Healthcare industry preferred Minimum of seven (7) years of hands-on experience in any of sourcing, procurement, supply chain relationship management process are highly desirable Critical reasoning skills Business acumen with attention to detail Demonstrated knowledge of technical operations processes and the ability to assess third-party capabilities. Demonstrated knowledge of Sourcing Management and Supply Chain concepts and practices Pro-active, independent, self-starter personality Collaborative skills in an entrepreneurial, growth organization Executes tasks timely and to established schedule Ability to interact and effectively communicate to all levels of an organization Travel Requirements 15%: 10% domestic and 5% international Salary Range $139,000 - $195,200 a year Compensation & Benefits We're committed to investing in every team member's total well-being, now and in the future.
