The Senior Shared Data Platforms Developer role is responsible for architecting and designing applications and managing the integration of their respective in-house applications, databases, and systems with third-party applications. The incumbent encourages department/division application owners to maintain key application data and continuously assess and communicate the application architecture to stakeholders. The incumbent will have a strong focus on implementing best practices around design, development and deployment of integration patterns utilizing cloud-native integration platforms and technologies. This role involves developing and maintaining integrations within our Digital Integration Layer Integration ecosystem. As a technical expert in application integrations, this role involves working closely with the Integration Architects to design and develop integrations using modern integration patterns Design and implement integration solutions within the Digital Integration layer for in-house and cloud business applications, databases, and systems Analyze and troubleshoot complex integration issues to ensure seamless integration of applications and systems Collaborate with cross-functional teams (i.e., Product Owner, DevOps Engineers, business leaders) to identify and build integration solutions to support business needs Develop integration flows and APIs using middleware tools Work closely with the Architecture community to manage or implement the API strategy of the organization Configure and maintain middleware infrastructure to support application integrations and ensure high availability and performance Provide technical support for integration-related issues, including system outages and performance problems Document integration solutions, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and sustainability Education Required Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field. In lieu of a degree, at least 12 years of experience in the field of Application Integration or Information Technology Preferred Certification in Middleware Certification in Collibra or other Data Cataloging platforms Knowledge & Experience 5 years of experience in application integrations and middleware development Experience with event-driven architectures and systems preferably in a cloud environment Excellent technical skills in integration technologies, APIs, and web services Experience in enterprise-grade integrations, data mapping, and transformation Experience in the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-level architecture (preferably, both on-prem and cloud) Experience in agile methodologies and SDLC Experience in domain driven design in a distributed service environment Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Experience with iPaaS platforms Excellent communication and collaboration skills Technical Skills System Configuration Solution Analysis Integration Technology Web Services, APIs and Microservices Web Technology and Protocols Database Management Systems Operating Systems Software Development Lifecyle (SDLC) Methodology Preferred Collibra Data Catalog / Data Governance / Data Quality/API related administration includes user/roles mgmt. workflow design/development, framework development, system configuration, ingestion/vend, User Interface/ Rest and Graph QL API interface development. Experience in designing and implementing data quality dashboards in Collibra using DQ as a service framework. Experience in integrating/developing/maintaining reference data in Collibra This position is eligible to work in the office three days a week and has the option to work remotely two days a week.
