We are seeking an experienced National Security Logistics Planner who can develop strategic plans and roadmaps that will help guide the Headquarters Marine Corps (HQMC) Logistics Plans Division (LP) to change and mature its Logistics Information Technology (Log IT) portfolio to achieve the organization’s long-term vision and objectives.You will collaborate with and shepherd a variety of stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SME) in the effort to further insights and perspectives on future challenges and opportunities that will shape the future of Marine Corps Logistics Information Technology from the tactical to the strategic levels. Experience designing, developing, and implementing new strategies and tools to support organizational change and development or experience developing and implementing emerging technology to support future operations is crucial to this high visibility HQMC Installations and Logistics effort. Location: This position is located in Arlington, VA Responsibilities: Conduct planning exercises to assess potential future scenarios and their implications for the organization with a focus on how the underlying logistics information technology architecture could properly address those potential future sustainment scenarios. Identify strategic opportunities and associated risks based on future trends and developments and develop mitigation strategies. Identify critical data requirements as aligned to the information technology systems and functions that will be key in supporting command and control (C2) of logistics in the future operating environment. Work with data architect professionals in defining both required logistics functions and operational scenarios to ensure full requirements are captured. Understand and work with Operational Views (OV), System and Data Views (from Tactical to Strategic) in order to illustrate and depict the alignment of those levels to validate architecture and support systems rationalization requirements. Facilitate workshops and brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas and solutions for future challenges. Communicate findings and recommendations to key stakeholders through presentations, reports, etc. Measure and track effectiveness of strategic initiatives and adjust plans as needed based on changing requirements. Apply advanced technical expertise and skills to develop an implementation plan for the solutions that address challenges. Conduct independent quality assurance reviews of program performance and planning deliverables to ensure that required obligations are satisfactorily met. Prepare and present information decision briefings and support Program Objective Memorandum (POM) planning, integration, and oversight. Security Clearance: US Citizenship required Ability to obtain and maintain a US Security clearance at the minimum level of Secret Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree 10 years of progressive, relevant experience, including (5) years of experience planning and developing innovative initiatives or supporting organizational change management Minimum of two years’ experience on Federal programs/projects, within the last ten years Experience supporting organizational change management, process improvement, or resource prioritization for Federal Government agencies or large, complex companies Project management experience desired Continuous process improvement experience desired Experience preparing analytical status reports of trends or problems as indicated by data and developing products that enable key leader decision-making Preferred Additional Skills: Ability to work with senior level staff members at the Headquarters Marine Corps and subordinate organization levels (C-suite and Executive level decision-makers) Advanced Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Teams, Sharepoint) Analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently and as part of a team Anglicotech supports the Department of Defense (DoD) and other Federal Agencies efforts to optimize and secure their global supply chains.
