Come join the largest privately-owned permanent physician recruitment firm in the country Your next strategic career move awaits: Jackson Physician Search is seeking a Business Development Manager who has an energetic “hunter” mentality with the ability to thrive in a competitive, yet collaborative, environment. Our BDMs are responsible for obtaining new searches within a designated territory by calling prospective clients, setting meetings for themselves, traveling to meet potential clients, presenting JPS services, and connecting clients with recruiters assigned to each search via a hand-off call. All BDMs will ensure clients have ongoing support and will serve as a point of contact for their clients as needed. Essential Duties: Proactively research and source potential new business leads over the phone, email, or text Schedule in-person meetings and present our physician recruiting services to decision makers (C-Suite) Gather, analyze, and interpret physician recruitment market trends and present to clients to help them make better hiring decisions Develop and maintain working relationships with current and prospective clients Negotiate and close sales contacts, with a focus on new business Partner with recruiting teams to manage client relationships and define physician needs Make recommendations regarding services offered & relay customer feedback Advise or make suggestions to clients to ensure a successful search is conducted and facility staffing needs are met Creatively resolve client issues by analyzing data and market trends to innovate recruitment strategies Promote services at trade shows Achieve monthly and annual search production goals 35% - 50% regional travel within a multi-state territory Compensation structure: base salary uncapped commission with obtainable goals. Requirements: 3-5 years of experience in solution sales, or 3 years of experience in healthcare staffing sales required Bachelor’s degree preferred Proven success securing new business and confidently presenting services required Strong organizational and computer skills required; Salesforce experience preferred Excellent prospecting, cold calling, face-to-face presentations, and closing skills with the ability to produce results in a high-pressure, time-sensitive, and deadline-driven environment Confident, energetic, and professional presence required: ability to effectively build relationships, overcome objections, and close business with C-Suite/Medical Professionals Interpersonal, strategic communication, and relationship-building skills required Ability to demonstrate judgment within defined procedures for best results Excellent verbal and written communication skills, time management skills, and multi-tasking skills Stable employment history with verifiable references Valid driver’s license and no major driving violations Why You'll Love It Here: Named a Top 100 Best Place to Work in Healthcare since 2016, Jackson Physician Search fosters a close-knit but competitive environment that encourages both individual & team success.
