Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $1,640 per week

Certification Details BLS ACLS Job Requirements Requested Skill Set: Cardiac knowledge preferred Advanced skills needed: Knowledge of Heparin, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, and Amiodarone drips Procedures performed on unit: Chest Tube management, wound vac management, EKG’s ad lib Schedule Information Number of Beds: 30 Patient Ratio: 5-6:1 Scheduling requirements: equivalent of every other weekend (4 weekend shifts/4-week schedule) Unit Specific Information Unit Name: 3West Cardiac Building: Main- 3rd floor Unit staffing description: Unit clerk on days, 2-3 PCT’s day & night, Nursing Supervisor, Hospitalists Type of equipment: Welch Allyn vitals neuron, Novameter glucose, Philips Telemetry and MP2’s Documentation system: Meditech-HCA version Medications: WOW with med drawers, PyxisES dispensing system Floating policy: other M/S areas: general MS, Ortho, PCU (Progressive Care Unit), M/S surgical w oncology. We rotate unless skill mix is needed. Patient Experience requirements: Bedside Rounding, Hourly Rounding with 5P’s checked. Reporting to PCT’s of known needs at beginning and during shifts, Check glass board for dept focus areas, Scrolling video kiosk available as well as email for update references. Additional Details Dress Code: RN- Navy and CNA/PCT- ceil blue scrub set and jacket (if desired). May wear white, blue, grey, or black tshirt underneath if desired- no graphics.
