Certification Details BLS ACLS NIHSS Job Requirements Intermediate Care Unit experience Ability to manage care for Chest pain, r/o MI, CHF, Arrhythmias patients, and more Schedule Information Must be ready to start by 6:45 am/pm for 12-hour shifts Self-scheduling permitted with 4 requested days off per month Includes weekend and holiday shifts Unit Specific Information Patient Ratios: Target is 1:4 but may vary Telemetry Techs available but RNs must interpret their strips Nurses must titrate drips such as Amiodarone, Cardizem, and others Orientation includes time with HR and on-unit preceptor. Additional Details Travelers must bring an unexpired copy of their driver's license Aides Ratio: 1 CNA per 10-12 patients Floating to Tele or MedSurg units with ratios up to 1:6 or 1:7.
