Schedule Information Shifts: 12 hours 36 hour guarantee with 3 cancellations 12 hr Nights Additional Details 24 beds - MedSurg with Tele capability on all beds Adults and Peds, but travelers do not take peds - these are assigned to perm staff Support staff on unit: Tele techs, charge nurse, HUCs and PCTs Nurse to patient ratios: 1:5 days; 1:6 nights; 1:4 peds -also based on level of acuity Nurse managers don't provide patient care, but they do rounds Float to all MS units and ICU (taking MS overflow patients) Hospitalist in house 24/7 No IV team Resp Therapist 24/7 Pharmacy 24/7 Scrub color: any color except all black Scrubs not provided
