IT Project Manager

Job Title: IT Project Manager (Healthcare) Contract Type: Right to Hire – 6-month contract to start- will likely extend 12 MO Target Start Date: December Location: Nashville, TN (Must be within driving distance) Work Environment: Flexible hours, Work From Home (WFH), onsite required 1x per month for training or large meetings Compensation: Competitive, based on experience | 50-65/HR Job Overview: We are seeking a Senior IT Project Manager with healthcare experience to lead and manage large, strategic, enterprise-scale projects within our IT department. This is a highly visible and impactful role responsible for driving the successful execution of complex technology projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong technology acumen, be well-versed in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies, and possess excellent communication skills for presenting to stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee multiple IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic goals. Use Agile/Scrum/Waterfall methodologies to lead project execution. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business stakeholders, and external vendors. Present project status, risks, and deliverables to stakeholders, both in person and via video calls. Provide ongoing support for current IT programs and initiatives. Top 3 Requirements: 6 years of IT Project Management experience with a focus on healthcare. Expertise in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies . Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to stakeholders in person or over video. Preferred Skills: PMP Certification is a plus. Why is this position open?
