Skills: Heparin drips, PCA, Colostomy Care, Feeding tube care and management Blood product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral line care/management PICC line management, IV starts, Management of dysrhythmias, O2 Protocol Management Non-invasive airway management, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Traumatic Brain injury Ortho trauma, surgical drains, chest tubes- Emerson/Pleuravac, Nasal Cannula Oral Suctioning, Tracheostomy Management, Wound care Certifications: Active RN license and BLS required. Preferred Skills: ACLS, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Management of drips, CVA, Pre/Post Neuro Surgery, Spinal cord injuries. Job Details Shift: 12-hour nights, 36 or 48 hours accepted. No overtime billed until after 48 hours if choosing 48-hour shifts. Contract Length: Flexible contracts available from 13 weeks up to March 15, 2025. Additional Responsibilities: May be assigned to Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Expected to report during catastrophic events, mass casualty, or disaster situations. Float Requirement: Floating to similar units and alternate care locations with inpatients holding. Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend. Holiday Requirement: Must be able to work 2 of 3 major holidays.
