Role Overview Our client is seeking an SDR to join our growing sales team in Austin, TX. As this role has on site expectations you must live in the area. This is an exciting opportunity to help fuel the growth of a high-tech AI company, focusing on outbound sales efforts to C-suite executives in target industries. You will play a critical role in driving business development by generating qualified leads and setting meetings for our Account Executives. You’ll work closely with our CRO and our small but high-performing team of SDRs to meet and exceed KPIs in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment. Key Responsibilities • Outbound Sales: Execute outbound campaigns targeting C-suite executives, primarily through email, cold calling, and social media outreach. • Lead Qualification: Qualify leads to ensure they meet the criteria for the Account Executives and set up initial meetings. • Targeting Executives: Engage with decision-makers in industries like retail, financial services, and media to build relationships and understand business needs. • KPI-Driven: Meet or exceed weekly and quarterly goals, including setting 3 meetings per week and approximately 30 meetings per quarter (over a 10-week span). • Tools & Technology: Use sales engagement tools like Ample Market, Salesloft, or Outreach to streamline outreach and track progress. • Collaboration: Work closely with AEs and the wider sales team to ensure smooth transitions of qualified leads and to help drive overall revenue growth. Ideal Candidate Profile • Experience: While prior outbound sales experience is ideal, we are open to candidates from diverse backgrounds. What matters most is strong communication skills—both written and verbal—and the ability to engage with executives. • Outbound Sales Experience: Experience with outbound campaigns, cold calling, or email outreach is preferred but not required. • Resilience: Comfort working in a KPI-driven environment and managing a high volume of outreach efforts. • Drive & Motivation: Eagerness to hit and exceed targets, learn about AI-driven solutions, and grow within the company. • Location: Local to Austin, TX.
