POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Sales Assistant to support our team in the roofing industry. This individual will assist in scheduling appointments, managing client follow-ups, coordinating project details, and supporting the sales team in closing deals. The ideal candidate will bring excellent organizational skills, a customer-focused mindset, and a working knowledge of the roofing or construction industry. This company operates nationally and is growing by the day. OBJECTIVES Efficiently coordinate and manage sales appointments, client consultations, and follow-up visits to maximize team productivity. Conduct timely and professional follow-up calls and emails to nurture relationships and provide updates on quotes, timelines, and project details. Assist in creating accurate and professional estimates, proposals, and contracts tailored to clients' roofing needs. Maintain and update the CRM system with client interactions, lead statuses, and sales activities to ensure a well-organized sales pipeline. Build strong client relationships by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and ensuring exceptional customer service. Manage administrative tasks, including data entry, file organization, and scheduling, to support the sales team effectively. Collaborate with the sales, operations, and production teams to ensure client satisfaction and project success. Manage the scheduling of meetings, book travel arrangements, and ensure all itineraries align with the team’s objectives and deadlines. Process reimbursements and track travel and meeting expenses, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. COMPETENCIES Understanding of the roofing or construction industry, including common materials, services, and processes (preferred). Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams professionally. Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring client satisfaction. Meticulous attention to detail in preparing quotes, contracts, and client correspondence. Experience with CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management tools. Ability to address client concerns and assist the sales team in resolving challenges. Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with sales, operations, and production teams. EDUCATION Previous experience in a sales support or administrative role, preferably in the roofing or construction industry. Proficiency in using CRM and scheduling tools.
