Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing & Public Relations Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in public relations and communications, with the ability to craft compelling narratives that enhance our brand image. This role requires exceptional communication skills, creativity, and a strategic mindset to effectively manage media relations and public perception. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive public relations strategies to promote the organization’s initiatives and enhance its reputation. Write, edit, and distribute articles, and other communications materials that align with the company’s messaging. Cultivate and maintain relationships with media representatives to secure coverage of key events and announcements. Conduct research to identify trends in public relations and media engagement that can inform strategy. Manage social media platforms by creating engaging content and monitoring interactions to foster community engagement. Oversee the proofreading of all public-facing documents to ensure accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines. Prepare for and participate in public speaking engagements, representing the organization at various events. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all channels. Respond to public relations related emergencies to minimize damage to the organization's public image. Develop, implement, maintain and/or modify crisis management strategies, including emergency response strategies and media communication strategies. Job Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in public relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field preferred. Requirements Proven experience in public relations or marketing roles Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with an eye for detail. Strong research abilities to support strategic decision-making. Excellent verbal communication skills for effective public speaking engagements. Proficiency in social media management tools and platforms. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
