Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $2,090 per week

Certification Details BLS ACLS Job Details Large Level 1 hospital in Mississippi needs RN's for General MedSurg Unit. Must have solid experience as an RN 1 or more years level 1 trauma experience PREFERRED Experience at a Very large medical center with a lot of surgeries/high acuity patients Job Requirements Must be comfortable with lines, chest tubes EPIC CHARTING experience is required Required certifications: ACLS BLS Unit Med/Surg 6S General MedSurg Experience with INFECTIOUS DISEASE and medsurg overflow Schedule Information Must be flexible with holiday RTO Managers will rotate coverage for holidays Shifts & Scheduling: 12 hours, varying between 7a-7p and 7p-7a Every other or 2 weekends per month standard Holiday Requirement: rotate in with regular staff Unit Specific Information Beds: 32 Nurse:Patient Ratios: typical ratio for all medsurg units is 1:5 up to 1:6 at times Ratio would be adjusted down for higher acuity patients Common diagnoses/Types of patients: current INFECTIOUS DISEASE, also takes medsurg overflow Charge Nurse/House Supervisor: Both Nurse managers are in house M-F business hours Educator and manager for each unit Nurse aids on this unit/Ratios: all units RT Equipment: cpap bipap at night, RT to help, high flow on 2n Floating Requirements: within skillset, all staff float between all medsurg units Additional Details 50 MILE RADIUS RULE FINGERPRINT REQUIREMENT for in-person or remote process Clinicians generally allowed either Christmas Eve OR Christmas Day and New Year's Eve OR New Year's Day
