Job Description & Requirements Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 12/02/2024 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Unit Notes:EPIC EXP 100% REQUIRED 2 YEARS OF NICU EXP FIRM Level of NICU: 3 of beds: 20 Ratios: 1:1-3 depending on acuity and staffing Required Certifications: NRP, BLS Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Extremely premature/premature patients, BPD, HIE, feeding intolerance, respiratory support, sepsis/meningitis Experience or 'Must have' skills: Ability to care for gestations down to 23 weeks, all respiratory equipment, use of feeding pumps Are RNs required to titrate drips: Yes Common titratable &/or set rate drips: BP drugs, TPN/D10, Insulin Charge Nurse/House Supervisor: Both About Summit Medical Staffing Nursing Summit Medical Staffing was founded in 2014 and is based in Fremont, Nebraska.
