Overview The Principal Solution Analyst - SAP WM is responsible for aligning SAP Warehouse Management (WM) and integrated technology solutions like Manhattan Associates Warehouse Management Integration (WMI) and Omnitracs to business requirements, ensuring they deliver on defined outcomes. In this role, you will collaborate closely with subject matter experts to conduct gap analyses and define process requirements for both new projects and system enhancements. You will provide comprehensive support for break-fix incidents, troubleshooting issues to maintain continuity and performance. Additionally, this position requires a strong understanding of SAP WM’s integration points with other systems to deliver solutions that enhance operational efficiency as well as deep warehouse process knowledge. Please note, this role does not include development responsibilities; this is a functional role. Primary Responsibilities Act as a lead/subject matter expert (SME) within the Solution Analyst team Apply system solutions to business requirements through the design and configuration of systems platforms and applications Lead the development of business and technical process documentation and training materials Lead the definition of project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements; assist with project budget needs Lead the monitoring of project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports, and recommending actions Serve as liaison between Business Divisions/Functions and IT on projects and enhancements Mentor and support development of more junior Solution Analyst team members Perform other job-related duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Business Analysis, Data Management, or Business Intelligence. Experience: 5 years of experience in a business or technology role closely aligned with non-IT functions, including thorough knowledge of business processes and system solutions design. High-level experience with the systems development lifecycle (SDLC) and expertise in Agile and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) methodologies. Proven hands-on SAP WM configuration experience in key functions such as supplier PO receipts, stock transfer orders (STOs), bin-to-bin transfers, cycle counting, replenishment, inventory adjustments, reslotting, and shipping/returns processes. Specialized Skills: SAP WM & Module Integration: Proficiency in configuring and integrating SAP WM with modules like SAP MM, SD, and FICO, particularly with CO-PA. Interface Experience: Strong understanding of interfaces between SAP and external systems (e.g., Manhattan WMS, Omnitracs/Roadnet, Dematic Bevpro, Bevscan, Velocitor, and RF gun technology for warehouse operations). Functional and Technical Documentation: Ability to gather requirements, write functional specifications, collaborate with developers, and test and support custom RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflow). Technology and Platform Tools: Familiarity with IDocs, Web Services, APIs, and hands-on experience with ServiceNow for issue tracking and management is a plus. SAP Upgrade Knowledge: Experience in SAP upgrade projects (e.g., from ECC to S/4 HANA) is beneficial. Leadership and Communication: Demonstrated success leading project milestones, managing budgets, and publishing project progress reports. Strong mentoring abilities to support and develop junior Solution Analyst team members. Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a track record of building consensus and buy-in with stakeholders and project team members.
