Certification Details BLS State licensure as a Registered Nurse ACLS as required for ICU Job Details Travelers are required to work two out of three major holidays. Must have at least 1 year of ICU IICU stepdown exp and large teaching hospital size exp. Must have experience with trauma related injuries such as head injuries, spinal cord injuries, and surgical care that are common on our unit Stepdown patient ratio of at least 1:3. Average Daily Census – 20 (21 beds total) Staffing Ratios 7 RNs, 3:1 maximum Epic experience REQUIRED Locals accepted: YES if over 100 miles or 50 miles for Night shift Pending License accepted: No RTO Restrictions: ALL RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility's needs. Calling out on a holiday may result in immediate termination. No time off during December 26-31 to ensure staffing needs are met during the holiday season. Unit Specific Information Must have previous ICU/IICU stepdown experience. Experience with high acuity stepdown patients is required. Prior experience with ventilator management. Unit deals with trauma-related injuries. Additional Details All RTO must be included at time of submission and approved based on facility needs. Facility may call off 1 shift per 2-week period. Local candidates accepted if distance criteria are met.
