Job Title: Entry Level Fire Protection Systems Engineer Company: Buckeye Fire Equipment Job Description: PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU HAVE A MECHANICAL ENGINEERING BACKGROUND As an Entry Level Fire Protection Systems Engineer at Buckeye Fire Equipment, your role will be pivotal in designing, implementing, and maintaining fire protection systems to ensure the safety of our clients. This role provides an excellent opportunity to apply your knowledge of fire protection engineering, while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Responsibilities: Design and implement effective fire protection systems in accordance with applicable codes and standards. Conduct fire hazard analysis and risk assessments for various projects. Assist in preparing and reviewing engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports. Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to ensure comprehensive fire protection strategy. Attend project meetings and contribute to client presentations. Conduct site visits to verify system installations and ensure compliance with design specifications. Stay up-to-date with latest industry trends, technologies, and safety regulations. Continually improve technical skills and knowledge through on-the-job experience and professional development opportunities. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering or a related field. Familiarity with fire protection systems and codes (e.g., NFPA codes). Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment. Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
