Construction Manager- Affordable Housing Developer

Project Manager Opening with DC-based Affordable Housing Developer Do you have experience as a PM or CM on affordable housing projects? This can be either as a GC or CM. This national construction management firm is looking for an individual to bring their expertise in affordable housing to the organization as they have a significant pipeline of upcoming projects in this space. Responsibilities: Manage the construction process by conducting regular job site meetings with subcontractors, owner representatives, architects, engineers, consultants, and other project personnel Summarize all pricing, level bids, and present an analysis comparing the bids to the original cost out estimates. Implement general contracting activities for new construction and construction improvement projects. Coordinate development and approval of architectural and engineering construction drawings. Review plans, facilitate permit procurement with partners, manage bid process, oversee improvements with the property team and close out projects. Solicit, prepare and evaluate bid documents and review contracts to ensure complete scope coverage. Work with our partners to facilitate site visits as part of the RFP process and meet with all necessary parties to facilitate obtaining necessary building permits. Requirements: 7-15 years of project management/construction management experience, ideally including experience working for both a general contractor and a developer Experience working on affordable housing projects
