Human Resources Director

This HR Director will partner with our Senior Leadership and the Defense Segment leaders to strategically provide thought leadership and deliver objectives on talent management, organizational effectiveness, employee experience, change management, and employee relations. Success in this role will require influential partnership with leaders across the enterprise to execute the HR strategies that drive business results and organizational effectiveness. The individual in this role must understand business priorities and translate them into an HR agenda that can scale with business growth. Responsibilities: The ideal candidate will collaborate with senior leadership to understand the organization's goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention. This position will oversee the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; flow down training and development requirements. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance at the appropriate level (requires U.S. Citizenship). Minimum of 10 years of HR experience; minimum of 5 years within aerospace and/or government & defense 5 years of experience in FAR, DFAR, and contracts regarding employment requirements Experience resolving complex employee relations issues. Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including payroll, compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws. SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential or ability to obtain certification within one year of employment. Must be willing and able to travel up to 20% of the time.
