The Trimble Technology Specialist responsible for the installation, calibration, and troubleshooting of present and future technology products that are available across CAT's product offerings. Work also includes the installation and troubleshooting of ACCUGRADE and Trimble construction products. Must be able to weld and fabricate brackets and braces. Will do some electronic repairs. Must be able to troubleshoot electrical systems. Most work on the machines will be in the field. Will demonstrate technology products and recommend the best technology solution for each customer application. Will develop a training curriculum and train customers and their employees on the effective utilization of the technology products to optimize productivity and monitor machine health. Will coordinate with the manager to develop a product database that will assist in troubleshooting these products in the field. REQUIREMENTS: Must be a self-motivated, innovative individual with a high energy level. Willing to work outside in all conditions. The job includes some weekend work. Must be able to effectively communicate, both written and orally, with internal and external customers. Must be able to plan, organize, and possess influencing skills. A minimum of 5 years of CAT/heavy equipment experience is required. Technical Training experience is preferred.
