Travel Echo Technician - $2,766 per week

Certification Details BLS Certification Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or registry-eligible for RCS or RDCS. Job Details Performs imaging and Doppler ultrasound examinations on the heart and surrounding anatomy using two-dimensional and three-dimensional imaging. Provides Doppler and color flow Doppler and M-mode techniques for patient records, storing data on the echo lab server. Assists cardiologist by operating the echo machine during transesophageal (TEE) studies. Performs ultrasound examination component of stress echo. May work in hospital, clinic, outreach (mobile) settings. Available for 24-hour call with a 30-minute response time required. Must demonstrate knowledge and skills for care appropriate to ages: Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric. Job Requirements Minimum of one-year experience in adult and pediatric cardiac sonography including experience with transesophageal and stress echo. Knowledge of pathology, diagnostic procedures, and patient care procedures. Experience with mobile service operations helpful. Proven ability to work with co-workers, physicians, and all levels of health care professionals. Additional Details Minimum of one-year experience in adult and pediatric cardiac sonography is preferred. Experience with mobile service operations is helpful.
