Certification Details BLS ACLS Job Details Duke Lifepoint Hospital - 355 beds. Home to the Frye Regional Brain Center, Cancer Center, Heart Center, Lung Center, Orthopedics, General & Vascular Surgery, Surgical Weight Loss, Women’s Center, and Level 3 NICU. 32 bed ED, 29 bed inpatient rehab, 15 bed surgical suite & imaging. Frye South Campus comprises of an 81 bed adult Behavioral Health Hospital. Job Requirements Experience in step down level patients is a must, understanding charting and interventions related to high reliability care. Support team efforts for continuous improvement. Can identify early signs of a change in patient condition. Minimum ADN required. 4 years of experience. Schedule Information Shift: Nights, 1845-0715. Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36. Alternating weekend hours (6 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule). No on-call requirements. Unit Specific Information Specialty: Intermediate Medical Care Unit (step down from MICU). Number of Openings: 2. Float Requirements: Will float to other inpatient units as appropriate for skill level. Equipment used: bipap, chest tubes, high flow O2, trachs. EHR: Cerner. Supervisor: Director of IMCU/MICU. Common Diagnosis/Treatment: sepsis, severe chronic pulmonary issues, complex diagnoses. Additional Details No holidays off first contract. Willingness to preceptor. CRRT is a plus. Excellent attendance required.
