Role Overview: Our client is seeking a Benefits Manager to join their Total Rewards team. This role is critical in implementing the company’s strategies for leave, absence management, and benefits and wellness programs. The ideal candidate will be strategic, customer-focused, and experienced in managing complex benefits programs. Responsibilities: Manage and serve as the subject matter expert for the Leave of Absence and Job Accommodation programs. Coordinate compliance with federal, state, and local leave regulations alongside internal policies. Supervise the Benefits and Leave Administrator to ensure efficient benefits administration. Oversee the administration of health and wellness benefits, including monthly invoicing, compliance, and vendor relationships. Assist in the rollout of new programs. Collaborate with Corporate Communications to enhance benefits communication via various channels, including intranet and webinars. Work with HRIS to implement leave configuration changes, preferably using Workday. Basic Qualifications: 5 years of progressive experience in benefits management, with managerial experience preferred. Deep knowledge of compliance requirements related to paid leave, ADA, ERISA, and other relevant regulations. Experience with HRIS, ideally Workday. Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and discreetly. Relevant certifications such as SHRM-CP/SCP or S/PHR.
