ON-SITE POSITION Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Purchasing Manager to oversee our procurement processes and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing purchasing strategies, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring the timely acquisition of goods and services necessary for our operations. This role requires strong analytical skills, negotiation expertise, and a thorough understanding of supply chain dynamics. Duties Manage the procurement process from requisition through to purchase order issuance. Oversee vendor management, including selection, evaluation, and performance monitoring. Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing. Collaborate with internal departments to understand their purchasing needs and ensure timely delivery of products. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance metrics. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to procurement activities. Coordinate logistics to optimize inventory levels and minimize supply chain disruptions. Skills Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles. Proficiency in contract management and negotiation techniques. Experience in vendor management and supplier relationship development. Familiarity with procurement systems, particularly SAP or similar platforms. Ability to analyze pricing structures and negotiate effectively with suppliers. Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across departments. Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt to changing market conditions.
