Human Resources Generalist

4 days per week onsite, 1 day remote Job Description The Human Resources Generalist will manage the day-to-day HR responsibilities at the client site. This includes a wide variety of tasks including hiring, administrative, benefits, leaves of absences, and enforcing company policies and practices. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assists with guiding employees through various human resources processes and answering ADP, benefits or policy inquires Process and maintain new hire and termination paperwork, reports, and activities including personnel files Partner with Talent Acquisition on recruitment of open positions Conduct new hire orientation and assist with onboarding Conduct exit interviews and compile associated data; identify trends and suggest potential mitigations Respond to inquiries from site leadership and facilitate with appropriate members of the broader HR team as needed Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leaves of absences Assists managers with disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, recognition, morale, and training and development Assists with enforcing completion of mandatory and non-mandatory training such as safety training, anti-harassment training, compliance, etc. Assist with annual benefits open enrollment process Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance Partner with HR Operations to ensure data integrity through administration of the HRIS system to include relevant, current, compliant, and confidential employee data Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance Performs other duties as assigned Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree 1-3 years of experience in human resources, particularly HRIS, benefits, and compensation Proficient in Excel and/or other database management systems High level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook Strong analytical skills, experience with reporting and data analysis; Experience with ADP preferred Solid expertise prioritizing and multi-tasking Collaborative team member with excellent organization skills, attention to detail and strong sense of urgency and follow through Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and communication skills Demonstrate ability to handle confidential employee information with discretion and good judgment
