Job Description Our firm seeks an attorney licensed in Mississippi for document review, prepare and manage suit’s/litigation in Justice, County and Circuit Court’s in Mississippi. A successful candidate will provide the highest quality legal representation to our clients with fairness and respect, thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment, demonstrate exceptional legal research, writing and oral communication skills, and obtain significant courtroom and trial experience. Key Responsibilities 1. Case Management : Handle cases from inception to resolution, including drafting and filing legal documents, conducting legal research, and managing court appearances. 2. Litigation : Represent clients in court proceedings, including pre-trial conferences, hearings, and trials. Prepare and present compelling arguments on behalf of clients. 3. Negotiations : Negotiate settlements and payment arrangements with consumers to achieve the best possible outcomes for our clients. 4. Compliance : Ensure all legal actions and collections efforts comply with state and federal laws, regulations, and ethical standards. 5. Client Communication : Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, providing updates on case progress and offering strategic advice. 6. Documentation : Maintain accurate and detailed case files, documentation, and records. Qualifications : · Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. · Admission to the Mississippi Bar. · Recent graduate – 3 years of experience · Excellent negotiation and communication skills. · Strong research and analytical skills. · Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively. · Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite. · High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
