Construction Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to join our team in Sacramento, CA. This role is critical in overseeing field operations and ensuring that projects meet Uprite’s quality standards, budget, and timeline. The ideal candidate must have substantial experience in ground-up construction and a solid background in commercial construction. The Superintendent will manage project activities on-site, coordinate with project managers, and lead subcontractors and crew to achieve project milestones successfully. What You'll Do: Oversee daily on-site operations to ensure project progression and adherence to the construction schedule Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to optimize workflow and resources Conduct quality inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and building codes Manage and enforce safety protocols, including conducting safety meetings and ensuring OSHA compliance Monitor and adjust schedules as necessary to meet project deadlines, making critical decisions to keep the project on track Review and manage all ground-up and commercial construction activities, ensuring high-quality standards in structural, MEP, and finish work Conduct pre-construction meetings, review plans and specifications, and identify potential challenges or changes to proactively address issues Maintain accurate daily reports, logs, and documentation for project progress, safety incidents, and on-site conditions Foster a positive, collaborative team environment, providing mentorship and support to crew members as needed What You'll Bring: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Superintendent, specifically in ground-up construction and commercial construction projects Strong understanding of construction processes, plans, and specifications Proficiency with construction management software (experience with Procore is a plus) Ability to lead and coordinate multiple subcontractors, maintaining clear communication and high standards Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive, detail-oriented approach Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with team members, vendors, and clients OSHA certification and knowledge of workplace safety standards preferred What We'll Provide: Medical, Dental and Vision insurance in accordance with plan guidelines.
