Position Title and Summary: Electro-Mechanic Electro-Mechanic is responsible to maintain, troubleshoot and repair a variety of electrical and mechanical equipment. This position requires proficiency in multiple skill clusters, such as electrical controls, mechanical systems, welding, fabrication, and manufacturing processes. The employee will perform medium to high-level machine systems troubleshooting and repair including retort cooling system, can washer, conveyor, gear motor and ink jet system. Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities Complete assigned preventive maintenance (PMs) and work orders (WOs) thoroughly, documenting all parts used and findings. Primarily handle electrical and controls-related PMs/WOs, but mechanical tasks will also be assigned. Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform immediate repairs and preventive maintenance on production and material handling equipment, ensuring production goals are met efficiently and on time. Overhaul, install, and commission new equipment. Perform electrical and mechanical repairs throughout the facility, maintaining a clean and debris-free workspace. Calibrate pressure, temperature, flow, and level sensing devices. Generate part requests to maintain adequate inventory levels. Diagnose, test, repair, and adjust AC/DC systems, industrial controllers (analog and digital), and wiring up to 480V. Interpret and work from electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical drawings. Demonstrate a basic understanding of electrical control circuits, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and other control systems. Complete all required reports and documentation in a timely manner. Immediately report any equipment malfunctions or unsafe practices to the on-duty Supervisor. Maintain professional relationships with both internal and external contacts while on company premises. Execute Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and instructions. Provide and maintain your own hand tools. Perform other duties as assigned. Education High School diploma or GED equivalent required. Formal education in Electronics, Maintenance, or Controls is preferred. Required Skills/Abilities Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. At least 3 years of mechanical knowledge preferred. At least 3 years of electrical knowledge preferred. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment. Fluent in Spanish is a plus. Basic computer proficiency is required. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and lifting. Must be able to lift to 40 pounds as needed. Tentative Schedule : Monday – Friday from 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM Compensation : $37.30/hour
