HR Generalist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently looking for an HR Generalist for a direct hire, permanent placement with a manufacturing client situated in the Northeast corner of Indianapolis, Indiana. This role involves managing essential HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, and payroll processing for a facility with around 75 employees. The compensation is commensurate to experience and ranges between $50,000 to 60,000 per year and includes several medical insurance options, Paid Time Off, and a 401K plan with a company match. Company will not sponsor applicants for Work Visas Responsibilities: • Lead the recruitment process and collaborate with managers to identify needed skills. • Ensure compliance with training and ISO certification requirements. • Implement orientation and recognition programs. • Conduct background checks and verify employee eligibility. • Carry out HR responsibility for compensation, benefits, leave, and employee related questions. • Participate in disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations. • Stay updated on HR trends and best practices. • Ensure compliance with employment laws and review policies.
