The ideal candidate will need to be local enough to film on-site at our facility as well as travel to offsite shoots when necessary. Day-to-day editing and content creation work can be done remotely from home, providing flexibility. What You’ll Do: • Content Creation & Storytelling: Your work will include creating dynamic social media content, digital marketing campaigns, project profiles, and behind-the-scenes footage. Additionally, you’ll collaborate with our technical team to produce clear, instructional videos—such as product installations and how-to content—designed to simplify complex information for both internal teams and customers. • Project Management & Team Collaboration: You’ll take charge of coordinating materials, schedules, and resources for video shoots, ensuring a smooth and efficient process from pre-production to final delivery. In close collaboration with our marketing, creative, and product teams, you’ll develop content that aligns with Kolbe’s brand story and supports our marketing objectives. Your ability to stay organized and meet deadlines will be key in delivering polished, impactful videos that resonate with our audiences. • On-Location & Studio Video Production: Whether it’s capturing footage at a job site, in a manufacturing facility, or in a showroom, you’ll record raw video in a variety of settings, ensuring that each piece reflects the quality and beauty of our products. • Editing & Finalization: You’ll edit and compile raw footage into polished videos, adding narration, soundtracks, motion graphics, and other elements to create compelling stories that align with Kolbe’s brand and values. • Publishing & Uploading: You’ll upload your videos to YouTube and our in-house content management system, ensuring that each video is available for distribution and use across all internal and external platforms. • Innovation & Equipment Research: You’ll stay on top of trends in video production and digital content creation, recommending and maintaining the latest video-specific equipment and software to ensure that Kolbe’s content is always cutting-edge. • Safety & Quality Standards: Follow safety protocols and ensure that all video production activities meet our high standards for quality and craftsmanship. What You Bring: • Education & Experience: o Bachelor’s degree in Video Production, Digital Media, Filmmaking, Mass Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. o At least 3-5 years of experience in video production or content creation, with a portfolio or reel that demonstrates your creative abilities. • Creative & Technical Expertise: o Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, etc.) Microsoft Office Suite, and other video editing software. o A deep understanding of video production equipment – cameras, lighting, microphones, and editing tools • Strong Communication & Collaboration Skills: o Exceptional communication skills (both written and oral) and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and departments. o You know how to take a concept or brief and transform it into a powerful visual narrative. • Attention to Detail & Organization: o Meticulous attention to detail, both in the creative process and in managing video assets and schedules. o Ability to juggle multiple projects at once and meet tight deadlines. • Additional Requirements: o A valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record. o Willingness to work flexible hours and travel occasionally for on-location shoots. o Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and work in various environments (on-location and in-studio).
