A growing company is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator (HRC) to support the day-to-day HR functions across multiple locations, including North America and global sites. The HRC will provide essential administrative support for the HR department, assisting with payroll, onboarding, recruitment, benefits, and various HR initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate high attention to detail, a strong sense of urgency, and a drive to achieve results. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with HR experience looking to expand their skills within a dynamic environment. Location : Onsite in Duluth with some remote flexibility. Key Responsibilities Payroll Administration : Enter changes, submit payroll accurately and on time, review with the HR Manager, manage documentation, and issue pay slips. Recruiting Support : Post job openings, schedule interviews, communicate with candidates, and manage job closures. Onboarding Coordination : Facilitate onboarding for new hires, manage background checks, benefits enrollment, I-9s, data entry in HRIS, and create employee files. HR Administration : Assist the HR Manager with employee queries, general administration, drafting documents, and managing invoices. Training and Orientation : Schedule and coordinate training sessions for new employees. Compliance Management : Maintain compliance with global, national, and local employment laws and regulations. Record Keeping : Manage employee attendance, time off, leaves, and maintain HR files. Data and Reporting : Support data requests and reports. Event Coordination : Manage schedules and coordinate HR events. Employee Engagement : Support safety and engagement activities. Policy Development : Assist in creating and updating HR policies, handbooks, and procedures. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education : Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Experience : Minimum of 2 years in HR, with experience in recruiting, payroll, onboarding, and compliance. Skills : Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; strong organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills; familiarity with HR software. Attributes : High attention to detail, self-motivated, able to maintain discretion and confidentiality, and possesses strong interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications Certifications : SHRM and/or HRCI certification. Global Payroll Experience : Prior experience with international payroll is a plus.
