Litigation Paralegal

LHH is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join its clients Miami office. The Litigation Paralegal will be supporting trial attorneys throughout all legal proceedings in Florida State and Federal courts, including all phases of discovery, trial preparation and trial. Area of focus is Commercial Litigation. You will be responsible for drafting, formatting, and proofreading correspondence and legal documents, including notices, pleadings, discovery documents, subpoenas, exhibit lists, etc.; filing and e-filing in federal and state courts; preparing hearing, meeting, and deposition binders as well as witness and exhibit lists; prepping for trial; coordinating, scheduling, and other legal calendaring tasks; legal research; and other tasks as assigned. The ideal candidate will be a real team player, with a proactive attitude and excellent written and verbal communication skills Qualifications: 3 years of solid commercial litigation paralegal experience Strong computer proficiency, especially with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint), WestLaw, and PACER. Knowledge of any of the following is a huge plus: ECF, Bill4Time, NetDocs, Relativity, DropBox, Adobe Acrobat, Hightail, DISCO, Case Anywhere, OneLegal, Solid organizational and multi-tasking skills with high attention to detail Great communication and interpersonal skills with a helpful, no-job-too-small mindset Must be able to go onsite, the position is NOT remote Salary: $80,000-$90,000/yr.
