Job Title: HVAC Dispatcher Location: Phoenix, AZ Job Summary We seek an experienced HVAC Dispatcher to join a dynamic commercial mechanical construction team in Phoenix, AZ. This role is integral to efficient field operations, coordinating service dispatches for HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems. The ideal candidate brings a stable work history, is local to the Phoenix area, and has over three years of relevant experience with a commercial mechanical contractor. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, proactive, and skilled at optimizing resources and schedules for high-impact commercial mechanical projects. Key Responsibilities Efficiently schedule and dispatch HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical service technicians to meet customer needs while minimizing downtime. Oversee the complete lifecycle of service requests, ensuring prompt and accurate creation, tracking, and closure of work orders. Act as a primary point of contact for customers, providing timely updates and resolving service-related inquiries professionally. Collaborate with field supervisors and technicians to maximize team productivity and ensure that all tools, parts, and information are in place for effective service delivery. Maintain accurate records of all service activities, technician assignments, and customer interactions to ensure compliance with company standards. Qualifications Minimum of three years as a dispatcher or service coordinator, ideally with a commercial mechanical contractor specializing in HVAC, plumbing, or piping. Familiarity with scheduling and dispatch software and knowledge of HVAC and mechanical system basics is essential. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated customer service skills and an ability to work collaboratively with field teams. Proven stability in past roles, preferably within the Phoenix, AZ, area, with a consistent employment record in HVAC or related mechanical service coordination.
