Assistant Superintendent

Our client is a well-established commercial general contractor with a Charleston office that specializes in healthcare, education, and various other commercial projects. They need a strong Assistant Superintendent or an up-and-coming Superintendent with relevant commercial experience for some ongoing and upcoming projects in the Charlotte area. Title : Assistant Superintendent Start Date : Flexible, but the sooner the better Location : Charleston, SC Pay Range : Depends on experience, but a rough range for the base is $75-100k Market Sector : Schools/Education or Healthcare is ideal, but other experience will be considered Responsibilities: Manage a team of workers, including work schedules, project progress and resource allocation Create cost estimates for labor, supplies, materials and other project costs Collaborate with clients, Project Managers, other construction management to determine budget and timeline Coordinate materials and equipment delivery with vendors and suppliers Create schedules for workers and subcontractors Other standard duties Qualifications: Prior experience working on commercial projects (healthcare/education preferable) Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Managment, or equivalent work experience 3-5 years of experience as a Field Engineer, Assistant Superintendent, or similar required Prior experience working for a commercial general contractor required The Salary Range for this position heavily depends on experience, but a rough range for the base would be $75-100k
