The firm specializes in complex cases in the areas of catastrophic injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, products liability, and commercial disputes. Plaintiff attorney will be responsible for managing a small but complex case load of medical malpractice cases. Responsibilities: Responsible for medical malpractice litigation cases Perform legal research and draft legal documents Propound and answer discovery. Take and defend depositions. Review medical records summaries and chronologies. Interview, retain, and work with experts. Prepare for and 2nd chair at trial. Qualifications: Member of the Florida Bar 2-5 years of experience in Florida handling active litigation and trial support, preferably in a plaintiff personal injury law firm. Minimum of 1 year of medical malpractice experience (will look at defense med mal) Strong research and writing skills. Strong communication and negotiation skills Good organizational and time management skills
