Aviation Maintenance Technician

Pay Range: $28 - 31.86/hr Contract: 8 months with possible extension and/or conversion 100% onsite in Jacksonville, FL Job Description: Perform structural repairs and modifications on aircrafts and flight control components. Utilize measuring tools such as micrometer, dial caliper, grip gauges, feeler gauge, depth gauge, trimic, and bore gages. Fabricate, locate, trim, drill/ream, and assemble metallic and composite components. Make major/minor modification to aircraft skins and other structural components. Install rivets, blind fasteners, hiloks, etc in metallic and composite structures. Utilize Assembly Jigs (AJ), Repair Equipment (RE), and other similar fixed tooling to locate parts, trim, shim, final drill, debur, and build components to meet Blueprint requirements.
