Research Coverage Specialist

Position Overview Our team is currently looking for a Research Coverage Specialist in the Healthcare industry for one of our clients. The Research Coverage Specialist is responsible for creating and maintaining coverage analyses (CAs) for studies involving human subjects, ensuring compliance with billing and coding regulations, and supporting research activities. Responsibilities & Essential Duties Responsible for creation and maintenance of Medicare Coverage Analysis for all clinical research studies utilizing NCD and LCD’s to determine billable items and services Utilize internal budget to effectively develop, review, and negotiate clinical trial budgets with various sponsors Review study documents to build and complete On Core calendars Review charges for patients related to clinical trials to ensure proper compliance and reimbursement Conduct quality checks on externally completed coverage analyses Qualifications (Education, Experience, & Skills) Bachelor’s degree 3-5 years of prior experience in clinical research or relevant billing/coding/coverage analysis position Ability to work 100% remotely or on site in Sioux Falls or Fargo Self starter and ability to work independently Global Edge Group, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
