Nature of Work: This marketing internship provides an opportunity to learn and assist with various marketing and promotion initiatives of the Denver Nuggets. This internship position will specifically focus on the topic of in-season events, promotional campaigns, and fan development. Examples of work performed: Coordinate and execute various in-market events, both internal and external, to promote engagement between the Colorado community and Denver Nuggets brand. Weekly research and reports on relevant market activations to keep our department current in the market. Execute specific projects and promotions as assigned with the ability of working independently and efficiently. Help facilitate grassroot marketing events to further improve brand recognition and fan development. Work with multiple internal departments to ensure all event elements are correct and in place. Incorporate information strategies into events to continue to build fan databases. Execute game night promotions, events, and additional duties. Assist in set up and tear down of multiple onsite and offsite events. Help manage in-house promotional merchandise inventory. Other duties as assigned. Working Conditions & Physical Demands: Typical Office Conditions Lift 50 lbs. daily Work in extreme weather conditions All Colorado Interns are required to attend all KSE Internship Program hosted events that occur during business hours. If unable to attend due to work, school or unforeseen circumstance, the Intern must inform the Internship Program Committee. All Interns are required to participate in the KSE Mentorship Program by meeting with the assigned Mentor in person or virtually at least for the initial meet-up. Qualifications Minimum Pursuing BS/BA degree in field or related field High School or GED Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills. Ability to work in fast paced environment with multiple departments and multiple companies. Good working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software skills. Willingness to learn and contribute to team goals. Strong professional presence. Ability to travel to various sites for specific promotions and events on an as-needed basis. Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
