Travel Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room - $2,579 per week

Certification Details AHA BLS ACLS WI RN License Job Details Registered Nurse position in the Operating Room. Job Requirements 5 year OR experience with at least 1 travel assignment required. Previous experience in a larger facility with comparable ORs of 20 and Trauma II experience is mandatory. Ability to circulate is required, scrub experience preferred. Proficiency in Ortho, Neuro (crani's), Spine is necessary. General Surgery, GYN, Urology, Plastics, ENT, GI are not required but considered a bonus. Looking for a flexible candidate with excellent work ethic that is also willing to do downtime tasks if needed. Candidates should be resilient, manage change well, and be socially adept. Schedule Information Contract length: 13 weeks. Guaranteed 40 hours per week. Variable 8 hour shifts including 0700-1530, 0900-1730, and 1100-1930. Potential float to other Central Aspirus locations if needed. On-call requirements include 6-8 weeknight calls and 1-2 weekends during the 13-week contract with a 30-minute response time. Weekend work is for call only. There is a holiday rotation. Unit Specific Information 21 ORs including all specialties. The unit handles 40-60 cases per day, averaging around 45. Additional Details Radius rule: 50 miles outside of facility location. Traveler must have their own vehicle due to on-call responsibilities. Epic charting system preferred. Guaranteed hours are set per week, except during holidays where the unit is closed.
