[Summary] We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our accounting team. In this role, you will focus on accurate financial reporting, compliance, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and well-versed in SSAP, with a strong background in financial accounting. [Job Description] Key Responsibilities Conduct month-end and year-end closing processes, reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with SSAP Analyze financial data to identify trends and insights, providing recommendations to management Prepare and organize NAIC filings to meet each state’s regulatory requirements Preparation of tax documentation and compliance with state and federal tax regulations Collaborate with external auditors and support the audit process, providing necessary documentations, responses, and explanations Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed [Qualifications] Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 5 years of accounting experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis Strong knowledge of NAIC reporting, SSAP, and other financial reporting standards Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, or similar) Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills A Self-driven and proactive individual who takes ownership of their work CPA or other relevant certification is a plus [What's On Offer] Medical (PPO), dental (PPO), vision (PPO), and life insurance covered 100% by the company Annual bonus performance incentive program Paid time off and sick leave 10 annual paid holidays 401(k) plan with up to 4% company match Quarterly Fringe Benefit reimbursements Job-related training reimbursement
