As part of this expansion in the US, XNRGY is seeking a qualified and experienced on-site Lean Engineer to join the team. Reporting to the Operations Manager , this position will be responsible for optimizing the manufacturing process through implementing lean methodologies for the Mesa XNRGY production site. As part of your role, you will be working as a bridge between engineering and operations to refine the production techniques and implement best practices. You will be critical in the continuous improvement efforts that will improve efficiency, reduce cost and be sure we are delivering high-quality product. An overview of your responsibilities: Optimize existing manufacturing process to improve efficiency, quality and cost-effectiveness. Implement lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies to reduce waste and improve quality. Identify bottlenecks in the production process and work with cross-functional teams to resolve and develop actions plans. Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot production issues and work with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions. Prepare and develop reports detailing process performance, improvement, and operations metrics. Support training for production staff for equipment or processes. Develop and maintain standard work instructions and process documentation (SOP’s). Evaluate and develop Kanban system for various operations for optimized pull system. Ensure processes are developed with a safety-first mindset to build and a safety first culture. Provide technical expertise and recommendations to various departments for improvement opportunities. Lead continuous improvement projects across cross-functional teams and multi-site operations to ensure best practices. What you'll need, among other things Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, business administration, or related field. Experience: 3 years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering role. Proficiency in ERP/MES systems (i.e. Epicor, Oracle, SAP, etc.). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle data and make data-driven decisions. Certification in lean, Six Sigma, or other relevant process improvement frameworks are preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with various departments. Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities. Knowledge of CAD and other design and simulation software.
